Most of our safety gear – glasses, hard hats, and safety gloves -- is designed in women’s sizes. Safety gloves, for example, have the same shape as men’s work gloves but are designed for a woman’s hands. Both Mechanix and North make gloves for women. Mechanix keeps the same form as men’s gloves, with a Clarino OW-927 synthetic leather palm to repel water and oil.

Pyramex makes safety glasses in its Ztek style for designed for smaller faces, especially for women and children. The classes come with clear, tinted, or shaded lenses. Safety boots, however, are only made by Red Wing as biker boots. The design is the same as that for men’s boots, with a Texon insole and khaki drill lining, but the boots are sized smaller. The boots can also be an alternative work boot to Caterpillar women’s safety shoes.

Safety hats for women are as protective as those for men, only the suspension is smaller. We carry hard hats in three shakes of pink by North, MSA, and Pyramex.
