General Sizing Help & Information
Size charts shown below are in inches. Here are some measuring tips to help you order the correct size without the benefit of a trying items on. If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string and measure it with a yardstick. Also, if your measurements are between those listed in the size charts, pick the next larger size.
Neck:
For shirts, measure around the base of your neck, keeping one finger between your neck and the tape measure. Another
tip would be to find a collared shirt that fits you well. Lay the collar flat and measure the "top" edge of the collar
around where it would meet your neck.
Sleeve:
Place your hand on your hip with your arm bent at 90 degrees. Measure from the middle of the back of your neck, across
the shoulder, and down your arm to the wrist.
Chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure around your body. Be sure to measure across your shoulder blades and the fullest
part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your waistline where you normally wear your pants. Keep a finger between your body and the measuring
tape for an accurate fit. Inseam: Using a pair of pants that fit you well, measure from where the pants legs join at
the crotch to the bottom of the pant leg.
Belts:
Order belts one pant size, or two inches longer than your pants waist size.

Arborwear Sizing Help & Information:
Jackets, Coats & Vests:
Arborwear jackets, coats and vests are cut true to size. Folks should order their normal size. If you are between sizes, best to order up.
Pants:
All cotton bottoms are pre-washed to control residual shrinkage. Sizing runs true or a hair on the big side. Arborwear opts for ½” over ticketed measurements, i.e. a 32x32 would optimally measure 32 ½ x 32 ½ . Arborwear is strict about their tolerances and thoroughly audits all cuts to try to prevent out-of-tolerance garments from shipping to customers. If an individual’s waist and inseam measure 32x32, then he or she would order our 32x32s. For folks who are running between waist sizes, they may opt to order up or down. Arborwear cotton bottoms generally don’t shrink after home laundering, and will actually loosen up a bit while being worn.
If an individual prefers their pants or shorts to fit on the looser side and they happen to fall between even waist sizes, probably best for them to order up a size. If they prefer their pants on the closer fitting side and fall between even waist sizes, probably best for them to order down.
Shirts:
All Arborwear cotton tops are pre-washed to control residual shrinkage. All shirt styles fit true, i.e. if you normally wear an XL, then order XL. Sleeves and shirt tails are cut a hair longer than most brands.
Boot Sizing Tips: How to Choose the Correct Boot Size
Selecting the proper size for footwear isn't an exact science. Just because you're a size 10 in one brand or style doesn't necessarily mean you're a size 10 in another. Footwear shapes and sizes vary slightly from brand to brand. Follow these easy steps to help you measure your foot for the best possible fit:
Step One:
Find a pen or pencil, paper and a ruler. Be sure to put on the same socks you'll be wearing when you're actually using the boots. Because your feet swell throughout the day, it's a good idea to measure your feet at the end of the day.
Step Two:
Place your foot flat on the piece of paper, putting weight on the foot your going to trace. Carefully trace around the outside of your foot. Keep in mind that your feet can vary in size, always measure your largest foot.
Step Three:
With a ruler, measure the length of the outline you traced, taking the measurement from the center of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. Using the chart below, find your size based on the measurements you've taken. If you're between sizes, choose the larger size. You can easily take up a little room by wearing thicker socks or by inserting an extra insole, but it's difficult to add volume to a boot that's too small.
