Wellington Work Boots
Wellington work boots we’re used to seeing today began as Hessian Boots. Traditionally, wellington boots were entirely waterproof and made of PVC. The boots were intended to be worn on wet or muddy ground. These are the types of boots that Americans commonly refer to as “rain galoshes”.
Fortunately, the original rubbery concept of these work boots has morphed into a more stylish, leather, pull up model. Wellington boots are commonly called “cowboy boots”, and can come with a variety of features, like steel toe, electrical hazard protection, and resistance to harmful barnyard chemicals.
