      Incredibly versatile

I wore these boots heavy use for 2 years the first time I put them on my feet were in love.

Hauling water in the Mojave desert cut down their life time a bit because for the constant freezing thawing in the winter and the soaking drying in the summer

Price is a little high but they are an amazing boot.

I’m a bucket operator for a tree company that works for the power companies. I am always on my feet for ten hour days and I’m rough on boots because I’m in the woods so much. They’re are comfortable boots right out of the box for standing and walking around the woods in them for ten hours a day. I’ve tried about 5 other boots before Carolina. This boots has been my go to for about 9 years now, since I started working outside. But I’ve always found them not to last as long as I feel they should or as I’d like them to for the price. I buy a new pair every year around Christmas time but that’s usually just when I buy them not when I could use a new pair. They only last me a good 6-10 months before they are worn out, the water resistance doesn’t make it more then six months even if I spray them something or wipe mink oil on them it doesn’t last, the soles start to develop cracks on the sides of them, as well as the tread on the front of the soles starts to wear down till it’s flattened and is completely flat/gone by around 10 months. I’ve also had this problem with the heels thread wearing down on the inside or outside of the boots heels but it’s always on one side or the side other the heels doesn’t seem to happen with every pair I’ve bought, as it has happened This last pair hasn’t lasted me 5 months and the soles are almost completely worn down.

Is there actually a Triple-rib Steel Shank?

Posted by Calvin on May 21st 2019

The boot is advertised as having a steel shank for climbing on hooks, but I can bend the boot in half with my hands. And I don’t feel any foot arch support at all when I’m up on climbing hooks.

      Best bang for your buck!

I bought these as a wildland fire fighter and have beat them to death from climbing on and off heavy equipment to walking through fire and hot coals. These boots have throughly impressed me with the quality of craftsmanship, durability and comfort straight out of the box. If you are looking for something affordable and will stand the test of time then look no further.

      Right price, good quality

I was looking for a good EH logger style boot and came across this boot. I gave them a try and here I am 14 months later ordering a new set. I am on the street, digging holes, and in muddy man holes everyday which is bad for boots, but with a little care after day was over these boots have met my expectations for quality and longevity.

Great boot at twice the price

I purchased this boot with steel toe. when they arrived I tried them on and spent the day in them to start the brake in. What an incredibly comfortable boot. Think I will buy another pair without steel toe just to kick around in.
