Crews BearKat Polycarbonate Bifocal Safety Glasses BKH15 available at Discount Safety Gear filter out 99% of UV radiation and they meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety standards. Available in four strengths ranging from 1.0 Diopter to 2.5 Diopter, the glasses are made to prevent obstructions to vision because of the design of the one-piece wraparound lens. The fit is tight enough to provide total safety and virtually all of your vision is inside the lens view. Non-slip rubber head grips are included. They are comfortable and durable, and also serve as an inexpensive alternative to pricey designer sunglasses. They even have built-in readers.

      Good Value

The nose pad on my old pair of gray lens safety bifocals was coming off. I ordered these as replacements. I find the hard plastic molded in nose pads on these as comfortable as the soft pads that inevitably come off. The glasses are easily cleaned. So far I am liking them a lot.

      Good safety glasses, but....

Posted by Rick on Jun 18th 2019

I like these glasses and keep buying them, but my issue is that after flexing to put them on, after some time they have a tendency to crack and finally break at the bridge between the eyes. I've bought five pair through the years, going on the sixth pair because I can't find any better right now that I like.

      Smart buy

Have used clear Bearkat bifocals for years and it's one of the best investments I've made in work equipment. I use a mild 1.5 diopter over my contact lenses and it's such a joy to be able to read and write effectively on the job as a result. The frame is uncluttered and easy to keep clean. Textured stem covers eliminate annoying slippage. This product is far superior to anything an employer has ever issued to me.

      Hinges break easily.

Bought 12 of these glasses and it's a good thing. Don't last 1 month before the hinges break. The lenses themselves are great.

      A good value

I have several pairs of the bearcat safety glasses with bifocal lens. They have very good optics are comfortable, tough and stand up well to cleaning. The bifocal feature is really handy in the shop or reading. I think these are a very good value for the price. doug

      Good

Have used these Crews glasses for years they are very comfortable and I get good life out of them, but one flaw. The rubber ear tips tend to swell up after a few months of use and fall off, but usually by then i need a new pair away.

Really good product for the price.

I can ditto all the reviews for quality and price. However, I sweat a lot and the ear pieces tend to come off the frames. I use cyanoacrylate (super glue) to hold them on and thus far has worked.
