MSA Vented V-Gard 500 caps provide cooking vents from improved air circulation and comfort, while featuring a Glaregard surface underbrim that reduces reflective glare. This MSA hard hat also features lateral contours above the ear for easy hearing protection integration, and a rain trough that extends all the way around the brim. MSA V-Gard 500 hard hats meet all applicable requirements for Type I helmets as outlined in ANSI Z89.1-2009. These hard hats also meet the ANSI voluntary standard for low temperature and reverse donning. Look for the official reverse donning logo to determine if your hard hat may be worn backwards without voiding approvals.
