It is a long coat, it is not too heavy and thick, it's nice for a rainy day.

      Not for carrying around

It is a long coat, but it is too heavy and thick and takes too much space to carry around with you in case it rains.

      overall not too bad

The coat is fine but when I went to button it up, several of the snaps were backwards and didn't line up with the other corresponding snap. Had to install my own snaps.

i have been looking for this style of rain coat, for a while.glad i found it.i like that it covers more of my legs from the rain.other coats are to short and during a heavy rain or if you are out for a long time, your pants are soaking wet.

      Serious raincoat

Posted by Horsefan on Feb 26th 2014

Most raincoats/ponchos are too short, barely reaching the knees. I am 6' 1" 225 lbs. and the XL size is within 6" of the ground. I expected a coat obviously made to go over clothes to be larger in the shoulder/chest area. It fits but I do wish it was a little larger. I feared the next larger size available would have been too large. I will really like it when caught outside in one of those non-stop rainy days.

I purchased this rain coat with hood because of the amount of rain we receive here in Japan. I had the coat shipped over by a friend. As soon as I took it out of the box, I tried to fasten the hood to the coat. One fasten/button snapped right in, while the next on pulled completely ou and can't be reattached. Very poor quality in my opinion. I won't buy again. (Nagoya, Japan)

Worked great at first till it ripped. Now I have to order a new coat. I was doing some roofing on a wet day and I fell off a ladder. Not sure how it ripped but I thought it could have held up a little better. (New Hampshire, USA)

I took this coat on my boat trip under Niagra Falls and I didn't even feel Niagara Falls falling on me!!! I wear it every time it rains. It keeps the rain out. The hood comes off, cool. I like it. I would recommend it to anyone. I work outside sometimes too. Nothing too rigorous but I stay dry! (New York)
